Beautiful photo of the Milky Way over Bolus – Core Zone of Kerry Dark-Sky Reserve – credit Po (secondary school teacher) Hong Kong
Po visited the Reserve in August 2014 coming all the way from Hong Kong just to photograph the Milky Way which he cannot see in his home country. Out of his five night stay he had four exceptionally beautiful nights of clear dark skies. He took may photo’s but this one he was kind enough to permit us to publish on this website.
Italian photographer Michele Cati also visited the Reserve in August 2014. He stayed only the one night on Valentia Island and took this amazing shot of the Milky Way over the Skelligs. Use of this photo is restricted.
Michele came back to the Reserve again in October 2014 to take even more photo’s – this time in the Core Zone of the reserve.
